Luigi in Super Mario Bros 2.
Luigi's jumps in Mario Bros 2 have to be some of the most classic jumps in all of video game history. I have never seen a wobbly jump quite like it in any other game, nor one that could allow you to skip half a level by precisely controlling your jump. Now all Luigi does is get lost in Mansions. What a fall from grace.
