In "Execution" L convinces lights dad to pretend he's going to execute Light and Misa in an attempt to get him to confess. But seeing as Light ditched his death note and is now a goody goody douche his dad ultimately get's nothing out of him and then puts down the gun feeling all relieved n' such. That's all I remember clearly. It may have also been the episode where L makes Light his bondage pal by throwing the cuffs on him so they can be together 24/7 but I don't quite recall.
