We went over to one of Emily's relatives' houses for a Christmas gift exchange thing and their kid had a 360. He'd been having a problem where after about 10 minutes of gameplay, a halftone dot pattern would appear on most of the textures and the sky in COD4. Later that night he got red ring'd.

So maybe all the graphical fuckups (not the ones related to particle effects) are due to the mainboard heating up?
