I have that mp3 file, Helm. It's a phone interview he did while he was in prison in either Milwaukee or Wisconsin, just a year or two before he died, I think. The guy was a writer for some underground rag.
GG Allin believed he was the savior of rock n' roll. He wasn't always copletely insane, just mostly onstage. But I've read some pretty wild shit about his offstage antics. The guy would ingest whatever you put in front of him. He wouldn't even ask what it was. If you put a mirror with white powder in front of him, he'd snort it, be it coke, heroin, or Ajax. I think he was one of the few people in the world who genuinely did not give a fuck about anything, even himself. One seriously fucked-up dude.
Anyway, I've always been partial to "Antisocial Masturbator."
