Earthbound games always seem really long to me because you have to spend a huge amount of time in every major location.

I also hate grinding so I keep trying to just run past every enemy, then end up just having to go back and level up anyway because I can't beat whatever bullshit overpowered boss is at the end of the cave I'm tooling around in.

Also also doing anything to drive the plot along in the SNES one always gave me an enormous feeling of acomplishment, so it always felt like I was doing a shitton of stuff when really it might have been barely anything.
