Burn after Reading. It had its funny points but was a little disappointing overall. A lot of the time, I thought Brad Pitt was trying to do a French Stewart impression.

I was completely unprepared when he got shot. Not that I'm against Brad Pitt getting shot, but it changed the tone of everything. I know the Coen brothers can go dark, but there wasn't a big "format change" like that in Fargo or Big Lebowski. A dark movie was a dark movie and a comedy was a comedy. Anyway, it was jarring. |
Edit: My mother recommended "Delta Farce". I left halfway through. Wacky redneck hijinks are not my thing.
