You can't be a college professor after your "first few years". You need to go to grad school to be one, and that costs an arm and a leg. It also takes a pretty long time. Even if you do become a professor, odds are that you are going to live wherever you can get a job, and that won't neccessarily be Florida. Why would you want to live there anyway? Its hot as hell.
