At Port Washington, near Milwaukee, there's some sort of structure extending out into the lake and it's made out of gigantic boulders. I'm fairly sure it's for waves, but people fish off of it. I have vivid memories of going there as a kid, as my parents fished, and peering down into the fascinating caves you could see through the crevices. I always wished I could get away from my parents and slip down through a crack to play down there. It's probably a good thing I never did.
