Well, the poor lack of judgment involved in switching to a message board-based content system is consistent with NOT MAKING A REGULAR BACK UP OF THE DATABASE!
I laugh at their sad asses. In addition to all my sites' code, I have regular back-ups of my databases. Any intelligent webmaster should do the same just in case something like this happens.
