 I bet it was just full of tips on the best way to read a book, for absolute idiots.
 "Remember, it's not a good idea to start reading in the back."
 
 "A book sometimes doesn't start with the story. Sometimes it starts with an author's comment, or a quote, or an index. Remember that these are *not* part of the story yet."
 
 "Put a piece of paper between the pages when you stop reading to remember how far you were."
