Girls like it when you PROVE your love to them. You need to show up with her name carved into your arm or something. Then talk about how much it hurt, but say you kept thinking about her as the knife sliced your skin.
Also, phone her at 3am and ask her what she thinks about suicide. Then act all cool like nothing's going on and be like "OK bye" and then hang up.
