Why is it that during the coldest of nights women do the mummy roll? Sometimes even the mummy roll, discard, mummy roll redux.

The mummy roll is where you are laying down with a blanket covering both of you. She continues to toss and turn in place until she has the entire blanket rolled around them and you're left freezing in the night. After a while I started keeping a spare blanket above my head or on the side of the bed. Then the mummy roll redux happens: They would mummy roll blanket 1. I would break out blanket 2. They would then discard blanket 1 onto the floor on their side of the bed and mummy roll blanket 2. |
