Soccer dudes, a question - it has always puzzled me about the "two yellows - one red" rule, when a red card means a DQ and no substitution allowed - meaning 11 on 10, of course. Can't they just kick a player out forever without penalizing the entire team?
I realize I'm nitpicking a rule that has been around longer than I've been alive (probably) but I have a little bit of a bad taste knowing that neither team could score until it was 11 spaniards against 10 dutchmen. It's more like the referee won the game for España.
