I remember there was a forum that was much like you described, from a member of another place I used to check out. He had over 2,000 posts, of just him alone. There weren't any arguments or anything like that (thankfully) but it was bizarre to click through and see what he talked to himself about.
Then he set everything so it can be viewed by members only. Uh... I mean member.
