bumpin dis

I picked one up about a month ago after the price drop. It's definitely an upgrade from the DS Lite.

Pros:
-I like the way the upscaled DS games look.
-Slidey pad.
-Certain DS games look amazingly better. Okamiden runs like ass on the original DS, but the upscaled version not only looks better but runs at a smoother framerate on the 3DS. Again, slidey pad adds a lot.

Cons:
-Shit battery life, even with the 3D and the wireless off.
-I can't play games in 3D and leave it turned off always. It adds nothing to any of the games I've played and in most cases makes it much worse (Pilotwings :argh: )
-Almost as bad as the PSP when it comes to my grease-smeared fingerprints.
-The download library is piss poor outside of a few gems (I love Shantae, and Zelda DX is still pretty great.) The 3D Classics section is trash and we still don't have Metroid 2 or Kid Icarus 2 in the VC.
-The thing crashes constantly, especially when trying to use Netflix.

I only paid $120 for it so it's not that bad but if I had paid $250 I'd be pissed.
