I took Intro to Philosphy as a schedule-filler one semester and I was excited to learn about logic, but the professor was like "We have a lot to cover in this class so we'll breeze over logic over the next 20 minutes and move on".
So I now I just say everything is ad hoc since that's the only thing I remember.
