I found
Robocop to be
"deeper". The thought behind it, to me, surpassed that of
Terminator, which I found to just be an exciting display of special effects, of which the plot was secondary.
The original
Robocop was a satire on a possible future
Corporate America and was skillfully directed by
Verhoeven along those lines.
And incidentally, it
's theoretically impossible for the two
Terminators to still have existed after the destruction of the
Cyberdyne building.
