The wolverine ranges in northern North America and in northern Europe and Siberia. Wolverines are extremely strong and aggressive for their size, and they have been reported to drive bears, cougars, and even packs of wolves from their kills.
It is also capable of killing prey five times larger than itself. The wolverine can also run up to thirty miles an hour, and are excellent climbers and swimmers. Play has been observed between mates and between siblings as well as between kits and their mothers. Wolverines are also known to play with objects. They have been known to carry traps away and bury them deep in the show. They are rarely vocal, except for grunts and growls when irritated.
