I dislike spiders on the grounds that I associate them with uncleanliness and the many bites they've given me. But one time I was stuck in cave surrounded by crazy-looking spiders that covered literally every inch of the walls, so that purged out any irrational fear of them I might have had. All the same, I'm still more afraid of spiders than death because I'm a stoic schizoaffective like that.
