These two sentences are a contradiction.
First you say that him merely being "suspected" to be a turncoat makes him un-trustworthy. So the details behind the mud don't bother you, you're just concerned with the mud itself.
Then you say you don't trust him because he's just more mud for the Left to throw.

What I said was that the Left is talking about this guy because he is more mud to throw. That does not pertain to why I don't trust him.
