Nah, this is pretty common. The Party with less power criticizes EVERYTHING the Party IN power does, and the Party IN power tries to demonize the other, b/c clearly their lack of electoral success PROVES they have lost touch with "real Americans." This is just politics in a two party system me thinks.

On the other hand, if the Democratic Party does get a hold of itself, it could be in BIG trouble, and I mean like Federalist Party, Hartford Convention trouble.
