I miss the days I had long hair and people said I looked like (insert some famous mid 90's band with a long haired singer). For what it's worth, I'll take it as a compliment.

Jeanette.. my dog's a Maltese. Maltese are supposed to have long, long hair, and in fact if left ungroomed, look like little white Chewbaccas. But I groom him often because he's trained to go outside and with all that hair, picking the burrs out of his fur after 5 minutes outside takes fucking forever.

If not for the burrs, I'd let it grow. He does look pretty damn cool like a white Chewbacca.
