One thing about the Dreamcast controller that I think is both good and bad are the L and R triggers. Because when you naturally hold the controller, your fingers are on the triggers. That's great when you play a game where you're always using the triggers, but when you're playing a game where pushing L or R does something that you don't want to do 90 percent of the time, it's hard not to accidentally push the triggers cause your fingers are on them all the time.
