Brand name controllers have always been pricey because they were always the best thing available. Anyone that bought any third-party controller (aside from a few exceptions which I can't remember right now) for any reason was a dumbass.

Now, yes, MadCatz is doing pretty well..but as soon as they release a shitty controller, I don't think I'll be able to trust them again.
