I've never heard, nor have I ever had to make excuses for Brock's voice. It's a pretty piss poor argument against the band, if you ask me. Many talented musicians had voices that weren't harmonic and ideal. Bob Dylan comes to mind.....
If you need to hear pretty voices, maybe you should listen to Justin Timberlake.
