Must say that I can totally feel for you. I've always had absolutely lousy teeth since I was a toddler as well and have had three root canals so far.....prolly need 2 more at the moment on a couple teeth. I don't care what anyone says, brushing your teeth does not necessesarily make all the difference with whether or not you get tons of cavities. I take VERY good care of mine, always have, and I kid you not my dentist said I have at least one cavity in every tooth. *sighs* And I haven't even had my wisdom teeth pulled yet...*gulps* He wanted to have them removed last year along with one molar that was so far gone and impacted that they had to do oral surgery with a specialist just to remove it. General anesthetic and all. NOT fun. (Even if I did wake up half-assedly singing "Yellow Submarine" ) With me though, I also got really unfortunate and inherited from my mom's side of the family, REALLY "soft" teeth.....ugh. They break way too easily (which is what's caused quite a few of my major dental problems...). But it's almost DEFINITELY a heriditary thing. I guess I was doomed, both my parents had lousy teeth. So......just outta curiosity, did either (or both) of your parents have bad teeth, by any chance? Because if they do, you've probably just found your culprit.
