I remember this one time my brother's cat had a kidney problem and we almost had her put to sleep.
My dad went to the vet but unexpectedly returned with the cat and told us he didn't have the heart to do it and we were getting her a kidney dialisis. My brother had to pay for it though cause it was his cat. What's really fucked up is how my brother bitched and said he wanted her to die.
edit: it cost him about 300$ what vet are you going to?
