I thought the same thing too, Max, when I saw an interview with Perle on the Canadian news show, 'The Fifth Estate'. The story was about the documented ineffectiveness of the Patriot missile during the Gulf War, and he was being questioned about the Bush Administration's plans to build a missile defense system and to weaponize space, two plans that he has strongly supported.
