I ran a 5k today, and once I was done I ate a banana. I then proceeded to the bathroom and threw up the banana. You're supposed to eat within 30 minutes of excercise to maximize muscle growth and muscle refueling.
Unless your stomach is an asshole
They offer so much free food, too. Quite a shame.
