You could always go as a cheaply made robot in a cape if you get in a pinch.
That was a few halloweens ago. I haven't done too much else the past few years other than a pillowcase over my head one year and a mexican gang member (pants pulled up, only the top button of my shirt buttoned, white undershirt). Only a few people at the party found it racist.
