I love handheld games and all, but compared to console games there's a somewhat empty feel about them. I've never really felt totally immersed like I do with most console games, and I don't think the medium has anything to do with it since I play most games on my computer.
Except maybe Pokemon Silver, which is the last game of its kind I played.
That one feels fully fleshed-out. Games like Metroid Fusion and New Super Mario Brothers seem very cold compared to Super Metroid and Super Mario World.
