I agree with Ziggy. My Grandfather passed away last summer. He was 92. In the last few years of his life he told many stories of how things used to be. It was cool as hell to hear all of this stories and the things he endured in his 92 years. I miss him.
As far as gifts, my grandparents has 12 kids. (Yes, they were Catholic) At the time they passed, there were 78 "immediate" family members. My Grandmother had Christmas at her house every year and bought EVERYONE a gift. It was always something small but she never forgot anyone.
