at least it was relevant. here's a recent robot / design project i'm working on with one of the PhD students in the lab where i work:
it's a vgo telepresence robot that she added a bunch of other electronics to the middle, including a light-up status indicator LED tie. it was all designed in illustrator and sent to the laser cutter. here's what the robot usually looks like (without mods):
