Spiderman never seemed really like a tough comic series to me, mainly because Peter Parker was written to be an akward, geeky teenager. I also didn't think Batman Begins was boring (I did think the Dark Knight went a bit too long though). Just my thoughts.
Oh, and wasn't there a black Captain America before Steve Rogers?
Anyway, I've heard rumors for all kinds of Marvel movies. Apparently, they've made a list of candidates. The list (if Wikipedia serves correctly) includes Thor, Ant Man, Cloak and Dagger, Power Pack, and Runaways.
