If we had kids, due to our own lack of pigment, I think they would be transparent.
Our hair isn't quite jet black (blue-black) like you're thinking, but it is pretty damned dark. But no, neither of us are Amerindian. I have Scottish/Irish/Italian/Belgian roots, and she has Irish/Ukranian roots.
