No, instead we've got Master P and Britney Spears. But to make it better, we have Philip Anselmo and Trent Reznor (I'm sorry, but I like Down and Nine Inch Nails) A lot of good stuff is coming from right next door though, like Union Underground. They're from Texas.
Although something about this state seems to attract writers too, because we've got Anne Rice and Poppy Z. Brite.
