Ahahaha.
I was posing (posing) next to a howitzer as part of a personal in-joke that was making fun of someone else that posed next to a gun in a very camp way. It was the 1 o'clock gun in Edinburgh, that fires at a very specific time every day, and I was visiting Edinburgh castle with my girlfriend.
