Flying primates were proven useless in Wizard of Oz.
I'm surprised noone has pointed out the fact that a decent punch in the shark's nose will incapacitate it. The shark may have a shot at rushing the croc, but if it fails and the croc is given a chance at getting the upper hand by exploiting the Achilles nose, the shark is cat food.
