When you're watching a movie for the first time ever on TV, and right near the end of the movie, your cable provider decides to do an upgrade that takes 10 minutes.
I love those baseball ads that TBS has right now where they drown out the sound in the movies with that screaming crowd noise and the baseball that moves around the screen, overtop of the movie.

the other day they ran one where all of a sudden a ball looks like it hits the inside of the tv screen
C'mon guys, you know you leave the room, mute the volume, post on i-mockery, and make out during the commercials. It's just not enough to have commercial *breaks* anymore, we're too good at ignoring them.
They have to actually play the commercial during the movie now.

I was watching The Omen, on Encore, and I also get Encore West. So that meant I had to stay up for another 3 hours to watch it all again. And you know what? It was worth it.
