Old Aug 24th, 2003, 01:05 PM        Our trip to King's Dominion yesterday...
Proto, Re, and myself went to King's Dominion yesterday. For those of you who don't know about it, it's basically a huge theme park with all sorts of roller coasters 'n shit. Admist all the good times, we did manage to take a few photos during the day, so here they are:

Upon arriving to King's Dominion we had the displeasure of seeing Hello Kitty in a nearby window.
But we didn't want to be rude, so we said "hello" right back.

Later on we made our way to some bumper cars and Proto decided to say "hello" once again, so we nailed him. He was complaining all day about how sore his neck was from that hit... but I think it was from the oral sex that I saw him giving one of the people wearing a Yogi Bear costume. I wish I could've got in on that action.

We were all pretty damned sure I would fall off of this thing no matter how good my balance was. You basically have to try to get to the top of this rope ladder without it twisting around on you. Thing is, you can't hold onto the ropes, you must wear shoes, and your knees can't touch it. So basically, you're destined to fall... and fall I did.

On the Anaconda roller coaster, they have cameras setup after the first big hill so you can see what you looked like on the coaster afterwards. Naturally, we all made some faces for the photo. Of course, they wanted to charge like 10-15 bux for the stupid photo, so I just took a photo of the screen that displayed our picture. Ha ha, take THAT and shove it King's Dominion rip-off artists!

The Flight of Fear is what we ended the day with. It's this huge indoor roller coaster, and it looks like nothing else you've ever been on. You know in some movies how they'll have a CGI animation that shows the camera going through all the areas of somebody's brain? Well imagine a roller coaster that actually goes flying through a twisted mess like that. Anyway, as you can see, with impending doom on the horizon, we all started reacting in the only way we knew how to. By making wacky faces. LOLROFLBYOB!

As we walked away from the park, Re reenacted her shedding of tears from surviving the "Drop Zone" ride (a ride that drops you straight down from 300 feet as seen in the distant background.)

All in all, it was a kick ass day. We got to go on pretty much every ride in the park and the weather was amazingly good. Even my whitey ass made it through without any sun burns. o.o

The last time I was at an amusement park was a class trip in the 6th grade to (then) Riverside. That was also the first time I've ever been on a roller coaster.

Thanks for making me all depressed.

I wish there was a drop zone by my house. The closest thing I have is Valley Fair's Power Tower which is only 150'. I love that feeling in your gut when you drop, it's sexually arousing.

We don't have any amusement parks in New York (let me rephrase that, none I havent been kicked out of) But we do have an abandoned rock quarry with water at the bottom. No lifeguards, lines, police presence, or cartoon charecters. Just a cliff and sharp jagged rocks ready to hit you with their jags.

I went to Universal Studios like 2 years ago in California. They had this Jarassic Park water ride, and they had this huge fucking drop that lasted like 10 seconds of you just falling straight down.

I went on that drop thing at the Calgary Stampede last summer. It was cool, but I was really nervous because my seat restraint was loose and the dumb girl pushed the button as my friends and I sat down so we were still adjusting shit as we went up.

Like the bags in our pants in case we shit all over.

Holy crap, I was there on that same day. The Flight of Fear scares me because I'm always afraid I'm gonna be talking to a friend and it's gonna take off and break my fucking neck.
