Security Hole Detected In Unreal Engine...
http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/exere...A00681CF80.htm
Secunia, an independent security company, announced today that they have spotted security holes in the Unreal engine, which is used in a number of PC titles.
The hole allows a hacker to send a junk data stream through to an Unreal engine tool that usually verifies online gaming servers. With the tool compromised by the junk data, a hacker can then execute code at will on the machine.
To address the hole, numerous companies have released patches to fix the security flaws, including recent patches for Unreal as well as Postal 2 and Deus Ex.
