I think he went the other way completely and tried to pick the most completely random things he could find, only he's not very good at it and his gifts aren't very charming.

One time I had to go to some guy's house becuase there was some sort of school-related mom-meeting, and everyone had kids about the same age, so it was a bunch of boys mostly at the main mom's house, swimming in their pool. There was a little brother, who was just a little kid, who wanted very much to get the same attention his brother was getting. His brother was cruel, like a typical older brother, in denying his kid brother the attention he felt he deserved, and dismissed the little brother every chance he got when the little brother wanted to join in on the older boy's games.

I don't know. Whenever I buy my girlfriend gifts she loves them, and usually they are stuff I would want too, but I don't really buy impractical things like stuffed animals and other gay shit ;/ Maybe I just have a cool girlfriend or something.
