A Problem

Alright here goes my problem:

Ok there is this girl that I've wanted to go out with for 2 years...and from what I've heard this year she was thinking about asking me out (her best friend and I talk). So I'm like 'this is good, right?). But than later I hear something else...

1. Her ex is bugging her and constantly trying to get back together with her...and my fear is that eventually she wont be able to tell him no any longer.

2. She is, I guess, almost obssessed with this kid that hates her. But he flat out doesn't like her.

3. Than there is me, who apparently she wants to go out with..but won't say anything because of reasons 1 and 2.

4. So what I've been told from her best friend is that in order for her and I to hook up is for me to ask her out..so that isn't the hardest thing in the world....

5. Ok two weeks after I was told about her infatuation with me..i decide that I have to ask her out...and I was going to .... but I received an email from her best friend stating 'I'm not so sure she likes you as much as I originally sad...but I don't know'. Which leaves me in a rut...

Possible Outcomes:

1.I do nothing and let her get taken by somebody else.

2.I ask and get shutdown because she never really liked me to begin with.

3.I try and just start to take it slower...and risk losing her to another.

4.I ask and she accepts..

Why I like her:
She is a punk like myself
Same tastes in music and hobbies
She is very cute
She is very like me...
