Abbey Road is such a great listen, but I always rate it as probably my least favourite post-Help! release (discounting the Yellow Submarine soundtrack, which basically had Hey Bulldog and nothing much else). The whole second side is amazing, brilliant, it's everything one could ask for from a band wrapped up in one. I think the issue I have with the album stems from "Octopus's Garden" and "I Want You;" it's just 10 minutes of stuff I really don't need to hear for that long. "Octopus's Garden" should have been a minute long, and "I Want You" should have been 4 minutes long. That way I could listen to the album over and over again. I suppose I could just skip those tracks, but that would be an insult to the Beatles, so I wouldn't. My favourite part is the medley though; it's just perfect. You definitely should own it.
