Superjoint Ritual and Goatwhore

Superjoint Ritual played here in detroit yesterday and it was a badass show, he pit was fucking huge. But who was really fucking great was Goatwhore, a band from New Orleans. Also a death metal band named Sadmasochisim from grand rapids MI played and they were fucking great. Anyone here heard of Goatwhore at all? Im assuming skulhed has as he is from that area.

Yes, I'm more than familiar with them, Zorak. It's a tight knit group of people, former members of Acid Bath, Sabbatic Feast and Harrowing all still go to each other's shows and Goatwhore is no exception. Well, except for Superjoint but that's because Phil Anselmo is uberfamous and shit.

Speaking of New Orleans, I was going to end up there tonight, but it's for far less of a "metal" band: Evanescence is playing at the House Of Blues and there's talk that we (as in the 4 or 5 people I'm going with) are going to be allowed all-access, so I'm gonna be bringing a camera.

Back on topic slightly: Goatwhore is good, but the members tend to get themselves into a lot of shit out-of-state.
