Actually a lot of MMOs have features or functionality that put the similar aspects of WoW to shame. Not that there aren't some things WoW did better than other MMOs.
The auction house is awesome. The mailboxes and banking are great. The crafting system, while on the whole not very essential, does have some very nice features. The destructive effect of patches on UIs if horrible.
The graphics are nice, if a bit cutesy, but other MMOs excell in graphics as well. The arena PvP for low level characters was abysmal back when I cancelled. The high-end content is very epic-raid oriented and the PvP bits almost felt like an afterthought (this is a second hand opinion from another MMO gamer who rocketed to 60 on multiple characters and cancelled long before I did - and really, if you're a fan of Everquest, then this is great. If your a fan of more PvP oriented MMOs this is terrible).
The sheer volume of servers makes it very difficult to play on the same sever as all of your friends, which is probably my biggest complaint. I've friends who play on 3 different servers, and I suppose I could try to play on all three or just pick which friends I like gaming with the most. But that's pretty shitty.
