WHaT What WHAt??! It is so nice to see this isnt a dead franchise...

SS is the quintiessential fighter IMHO... only thing close (in terms of Raw fun and originality) was a game called "Fighter Destiny" on N64- (Although not the greatest by any means, the combo and reversal system it used gave a very fresh outake on a unevolutionary Genre... )

I cant wait for This to come out to console (if it does make it that way) or to an arcade nearby at least...

I'm not sure, but it looks like Samurai Showdown Zero will be on all 3 console systems, because they're mentioned in the article (but since it's not written in English, it could just be saying they haven't decided what systems it will be on yet).

Its official exit in Japanese halls is predicted for October of this year, being able later to conversionar itself to consoles of the moment (Playstation 2, Xbox, GameCube).

I believe that porting to the three consoles was part of SNK's deal with the Korean company that bought them.
