The debates (if they happen) have indeed become a farce, BUT they are the closest thing we've got to reality. It's sad, it's paltry, but it's still just a little bit better than nothing.
I like the lead up, where each camp says their opponent is the best debater since Senecca. That's at least good for a laugh.
