I think the point was that fundamentalists think that the devil planted fossils to trick us into believing in evolution, which is equivalent to hating God.
Wouldn't that be blasphemy, as believing God to have planted evidence to make us believe something that wasn't true means one believes that God is decietful? :dobzhansky
