Because usually females (until they're about 25-26) don't know what they want, and are messed up half the time from hormones and PMS, not to mention the likelihood of having depression, bi-polar, anger issues, self image issues, or anything along those lines. Even a "mentally healthy" girl is batshit nuts until about 26.
